Tamara L. Stack is the founding attorney of The Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC, and is admitted to practice in New York, Florida, and Massachusetts.

Tamara L. Stack is the founding attorney of The Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC, and is admitted to practice in New York, Florida, and Massachusetts. Her primary focus covers the areas of Elder Law, Trust and Estates and Corporate law. She is highly skilled in long-term care planning, Medicaid applications, asset protection and guardianship. Additionally, she administers simple and complex estates and trusts and provides estate planning services to a variety of clients, including high net worth individuals. Last, she provides corporate services to small businesses, including organizing and incorporating business entities, drafting and negotiating contracts, shareholder/manager agreements, commercial leases, advising and reviewing finance documents, loans, mortgages, credit lines, and private placement equity filings. Additional ancillary areas of representation include health care law, real estate transactions, representation of real estate entities and tax law.

Tamara started her legal career in Health Care Law and has represented medical groups, hospitals, home health care entities, and HMOs.

Tamara has served as a member on the Committee of Legal Problems of the Aging. She has also lectured on legal issues at the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, at numerous community groups and is a member of the Lawline legal training faculty.

Matthew Parrott, Esq.

Matthew Parrott is presently a legal assistant at the Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC. Upon being admitted to the New York State Bar, his title will be revised to Associate Attorney.

Matthew Parrott is presently a legal assistant at the Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC. Upon being admitted to the New York State Bar, his title will be revised to Associate Attorney. Matthew’s focus areas include Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate matters, as well as Corporate Law and other related matters.

Before joining Stack & Associates, Matthew studied at the University of Avignon and the University of Toulouse in France, where he earned a Master’s Degree in International Economic Law. After law school, he started a criminal law practice in West Virginia, working in the areas of Indigent Defense, Family Law, and Personal Injury Law. He then moved to the Hudson Valley area of New York to be closer to his family, before finding a home at Stack & Associates.

Linda S. Nelson, Paralegal.

Linda S. Nelson has worked for the Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC since 2002, first as an Administrative Assistant, and now as the firm’s Paralegal.

Linda S. Nelson has worked for the Law Offices of Stack & Associates, PLLC since 2002, first as an Administrative Assistant, and now as the firm’s Paralegal. Although her primary focus is on Elder Care issues, she is equally skilled in Estate Planning, Property Transfers, and Probate Matters. She has extensive experience drafting Medicaid applications for community home care and nursing home care and interfaces directly with the Department of Social Services to advocate for the firm’s clients. She also establishes, and sometimes, as requested, manages, Community Pooled Income Trusts for Medicaid Recipients.

Linda has also held many management positions outside of the firm, including founding a not-for-profit arts organization, which she managed for nineteen years, and which, in addition to promoting the arts, raised funds and awareness for many not-for-profit organizations. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Boomerang Theatre Company and currently for the New York Innovative Theatre Awards.
